Well, hello guys, im back from the holidays, to do the Miss B  homework, this is the image of the advert that we re going to analise.

DENNOTATION = There are 3 beautiful girls, and 2 mens

one man looks like is a businessman

The people in the mirror look like are alive

the left women is wearing a shirt that is exacly the same to Wally from "Where is Wally"

the place where they are look like a room

the font "18" and "quality street" are in purple

they used the candies to make people want to buy

CONNOTATION = the man in the couch is wearing a dark blue that is actualy shown as darkness

the use of red shows that red was commonly the most used colour in the 50s

blonde women were described as dumb

in that time men were descript as the leaders of everything

the description of the 18 different toffees are used to persuade people to go to their store and buy their products

the lefct girl on the couch is slight the same as the first candy shown that suggests the women were sweety as the candy
